Welcome
The Assembly Rooms is Derby's leading entertainment venue, located on the Market Place in the Centre of Derby City. It promotes a year round programme of Arts and Entertainment, including an orchestral season, comedy, rock and pop events, family entertainment, such as the annual pantomime, dance, drama and children's shows. It also offers space for a range of events including conferences, corporate presentations, trade exhibitions, dinner dances and weddings.
The Guildhall Theatre, also located on the Market Place in the centre of Derby City, provides a blend of professional touring theatre and music events, as well as offering a venue for many amateur productions and is perfect for small meetings and exhibitions.
Online bookings
We are sorry that many of our May - July shows are not currently available for online booking. Our new Derby LIVE website launches mid- May with online booking for all our shows, including those Coming Soon.

Eurest Catering Pre Show Dining is an exclusive facility for those people attending any shows at The Assembly Rooms. Pre Show Dining is bookable in advance once you have purchased your show tickets. A minimum of 48 hours notice is required, but we advise booking early to avoid dissappointment. Pre Show dining is held in the 45' Suite and doors open one and a half hours before the show begins.
